The Little Bookworm Girl

I'm Trinity! I have a passion for reading and writing, I hope to one day be one of those authors who everyone knows.
Hush, Hush - Becca Fitzpatrick I have read a lot of great and not so great reviews about this book, I felt left out because almost all of my friends read this book and I haven't read it yet. But I am happy to say I read it and LOVED it!!

Nora:
Nora is very intelligent, when everyone would be telling her all these new details about Patch, she knew what they all meant! I did not understand what they were talking about most of the times until Nora said it over but in a different way. I would say I would love Nora to be my best friend, she is just so awesome!

Patch:
I am so confused! Does he have a different name!?! Didn't Rixon say they gave him that nickname? I want to know his real name!! I was really upset with Patch later on when Nora finds more things about him that got me really pissed off. But then when he explained it all, I felt much better LOL!

Me after finding out about his past: "I hate you! I thought you were supposed to be a good guy!
Me after he explains his past: "Aw, I love you again!

Vee: -SPOILER-
Ah!! I disliked Vee very much! So many parts were getting me real upset with her, where I wanted to stop reading the book. It is so retarded on how she assumes it was Patch who hurt her and kept telling Nora to stay away from him (yes I know because of what the other lady did but still!) but when Nora warns her about Jules and the other guy (sorry forgot his name) Vee doesn't care, no, she just goes on and hangs out with them all the time. Even when Nora tried to convince her about the murder situation Vee didn't care or worry about it. She just kept wanting to hang out with the guys. Gah! I really did not like Vee at all. To be honest, if this book was good but not as good as it is, I would have dropped probally 2 stars just because of Vee.

I have no idea what lies next for Patch and Nora in [b:Crescendo|7791997|Crescendo (Hush, Hush, #2)|Becca Fitzpatrick|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1362408146s/7791997.jpg|6867038] but I sure am going to find out!
Shiver - Maggie Stiefvater During this book, it did take it awhile until it turned into yet another page turner for me. The ending did not really shock me, it was kind of obvious that that would happen but it is still great to know that it happened. I will not spoil it for you guys (:

Grace:
Grace is your ordinary (almost) teenager, she would be completely normal if she did not live in a town with a bunch of wolves and based on the fact that she has been bitten before, and nothing ever happened to her. I am anxious to read the next book in the series but sadly it will have to wait until I can finish a whole list of books I need to complete. Anyways, I hope to read a lot more of Grace in the next book with more interesting reasons on why she has not changed.

Sam:
Sam is a sweety. Although, he did not make it onto my list of my dream guys. He is very caring and so very sweet. Any girl would be lucky to have him, I just don't like the eyes. They say he has yellow eyes when a wolf and human but when I read he had yellow eyes. I don't think of it as normal eye colors, no I picture glowing eyes! I can't seem to picture him with normal yellow eyes for some reason, so I just stayed with brown haha! I wonder what is going to happen with him through the next book, I have yet to read the summary of the next book but I sure am going to do that right now to see where Sam and Grace takes me next!

Olivia:
I am still trying to understand why she was so happy with what happened to her. I would have felt like hell if it was me that has to go through with it! I hope she comes back through the next book as well! Ok, I think I might have to fit Linger in my schedule somewhere to read the book.

Jake: -Spoiler-
Huh, no shock there. I was surprised by the way it went for him. I think the part that shocked me the most was when Maggie wrote "he died 15 minutes later" so easily. I was taken aback and had to reread it several times to actually move on to the next page. I honestly thought Jake was going to be one of those dangerous wolves, but I was surprised to find out how well he was acting. Although I know he was struggling, he wasn't like "ah I'm gonna kill you" like I thought he was going to be doing lol!

So overall, I really need to go onto the next book, [b:Linger|6654313|Linger (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #2)|Maggie Stiefvater|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1292482391s/6654313.jpg|6848948], I hope to get into it somewhere this month or it may have to wait until November. Let me know below if you have read the second the book and if it was as good as Shiver, or better, or worse!
Anna and the French Kiss - Stephanie Perkins Well...I really enjoyed this book! I was not thinking of reading this book till later, maybe even next year but I am glad I chose to read it now!

Anna:
Anna is obviously my favorite character. I loved that the point of view was based on her, and it was in first POV so that gave it a bonus! She is not afraid to talk straight to √Čtienne St. Clair which is what I loved!

√Čtienne St. Clair:
Ah! Why do I keep falling in love with the main male character! Gah! Anyways, St. Clair is amazing! I am trying to find ways to describe him without using any spoilers! I think amazing just sums it up!

I guess I don't really know how to explain how much I loved this book based through this review but I am just going to say I loved it!! I highly recommend this book, and if you do read it, please tell me what you thought about it!
Starcrossed - Josephine Angelini I am still trying to get all my emotions out of the way on how this book ended! I was deciding whether or not to join in on a buddy read in one of my groups that were reading this book, but boy am I glad I did! I loved this book sooo much!!!!

Helen:
I do not like that her name is "Helen", I just don't like reading that name for some reason, but beyond that, Helen is awesome! I seem to be liking more characters by every book I read. But Helen annoyed me a few times through the book but boy do I wish I was her! First: She has gorgeous LUCAS! Although her mom tricked them into thinking there were family so they think they can't be together. Second: She has amazing powers! I wish i could fly, it would be awesome to fly to Paris within 10 minutes and still make it back in time for dinner. And I wish I was stronger than all the boys at my school :D

Lucas:
Ah, I am falling in love. So far, even though I fall in love with almost all the guys I read about, I think Lucas is by far the best out of all them. At first I was getting mad at him because I thought he was just teasing Helen by leading her on but there was so much more than that I just wish he was apart of my life. Is it so bad to wish he was in my life?

Overall, this book was 20 out of 20 stars good! I recommend this book to everybody who likes romance, schemes and all that powery stuff :D
City of Ashes - Cassandra Clare I loved this book! At first it was ok, and I enjoyed Book 1 better ([b:City of Bones|256683|City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1)|Cassandra Clare|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1309277410s/256683.jpg|2267189]) but as the book went on, I ended up enjoying it much better than book 1. I would recommend this book to everyone!

Clary:
Clary annoyed me a little in the book, but she was awesome. There were some times when I wanted to punch her (even though I cant) when She kept going to Simon. Is anyone else on Team Jace?? The ending just got me so upset, why do you have to open your mouth Jace?! But other than that I loved her.

Jace:
I am desperately in love with Jace. Lord do I wish Jace was my age and in my school, ah :)
Jace is seriously my favorite character in the book, I love his humor! I hated the ending so much with what he said -.-

Simon:
Go to Maia! Follow your conscience and do not go back to Clary, let her be with Jace! I was about to burst into tears when Valentine killed him, but I thought it was best if he did die. I didn't like him all that much, but I knew Clary would start grieving so I was a little happy when Jace brought him back to life.

Valentine:
For some reason, the way I picture Valentine is that warlock guy from Wizard 101 LOL! The one with silk hair and very skinny. I don't know, it's the way I picture him when I read.

Alec:
I seriously thought he and Magnus were going to kiss in a scene and I was getting ready to gag. I thought Alec was so much cooler in this book than in the first one.

There was a lot of twists and turns in this book but it was awesome! I can;t wait to get onto Book 3 [b:City of Glass|3777732|City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments, #3)|Cassandra Clare|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1369452339s/3777732.jpg|3443248].
The Graveyard Book - Neil Gaiman Rating - 10 Gold Stars

I do not recall this book being this good as I read it before. This book made me cry around the end. I literally dropped the book with my mouth hanging open as I finished. I was surprised by the ending, this was an amazing book! I would re-read all the time if I could!

Bod:
Wow, Bod was amazing. He is so smart, and I am surprised of all the things he did when he was young. He was simply amazing, I have never in my life read a character like him before! (In a good way) I loved him so much. He was a curious, intelligent, and cool kid/guy.

Scarlett:
Scarlett wasn't all that great in my opinion. Who tries to run away from someone who saved her life? I would have loved being Bod's friend. I couldn't believe how it turned out in the ending.

The Man Jack:
Creepy. That is the only word I can describe him as. Well, I just thought of a few more: Creepy, Scary, Mean, Freaky, etc. He was the only thing that really frightened me in the book. I was seriously creeped out by this man. Especially what happened when he had "information" about what Scarlett was asking him when he was pretending to be another man. Man, that was really creepy.

Overall, I enjoyed this book so much better than I did when I first read this in January. I do not understand how I gave this book 4 * before, when it clearly deserved 10 gold stars. But since it does not allow me to give this book 10 gold stars, I stuck with 5 gold stars.
Arielle: Immortal Awakening - Lilian Roberts I recieved a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

(SPOILER ALERT!)
First off, let me just say that this was the cutest story I have ever read!! I really did love this book! It did seem unrealistic in some parts, but other than that this book was amazing!

Arielle:
Arielle was my favorite character in this book! I did think something was going to come up about her powers to feel what others feel, but she was overall my favorite character. I was surprised she hasn't told her best friends or Sebastion about her powers (I am hoping that is in the next book ;)

Eva:
Eva was awesome! I wish I had her powers, to see in the fture and talk with ghosts is amazing! It is amazing how all 3 best friends ended up all having a lover at the same time :D

Gabrielle:
I honestly thought all three of them were going to have powers, not just Eva and Arielle but Gabrielle was one of those "boyish" girls :) I was pretty shocked on what happened between her and Marcus, and his past just creeped me out! O.o

Annabel:
Get over it girl! She is so obsessed on getting revenge on Sebastion that (I think she was the one..) who turned Sebastion as an immortal! I can't see what devious plans she has next! :)

Sebastion:
Man, what I wouldn't give to have a guy like Sebastion! The only thing that I felt weird about him, was when he ended all his calls, emails with Arielle saying "Miss me" all the time. I kept thinking that since he has powers, that when he says miss me, he is able to persuade her. He is seriously the jealous type and I find that cute :)

Thank you so much Lilian for allowed me to read and review Arielle: Immortal Awakening. I am looking forward to the next book.
The Notebook - Nicholas Sparks -Review to Come-

The Pen & the Sword (The Ballad of Nick & Mina 1)

The Pen & the Sword (The Ballad of Nick & Mina 1) - Jonathon Wolfer ** I recieved a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review**

"Well, Sherlock said it best - 'When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.'

I loved the beginning with John and Lauren. I was confused a little, had to keep re-reading the paragraph to understand what was going on, but I loved it.

I liked Nick's character, he was kind, caring, and cool. I didn' t realize until the end that this was just the beginning of the series, I can't wait for the next book!! It didn' t have as much fighting as I thought it was going to have, but it was a nice read.
A Taylor-Made Life - Kary Rader **I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review**

Wow, I forgot this was even a book! It seemed like it was based on a true story. I cried so much in this book.
Gavin and Taylor found each other because they were both involved in Cancer. The way he loved her and would do anything for her made me cry non-stop.

You will cry if you read this book. It takes a lot in a book to make me cry, this one had me weeping and a 50 sheet tissue box. I honestly thought it was going to be a 3 * book, but after I read the first few chapters, I was sold.
Beautiful Darkness - Kami Garcia, Margaret Stohl Actual Marking - 4.5 Stars

There were some thingd that made this book better than the first book, Beautiful Creatures. There were some parts that I got confused, I had to re-read some parts to understand what was happening.
Lena was pretty annoying in this book. She wasn't my favorite, as from the first book. They picked up from where it ended in Beautiful Creatures, where Lena is starting to get away from Ethan.

My favorite character was Liv! I honestly thought Ethan should've been with Liv instead of Lena, (Don't get me wrong, Lena is ok) But I just thought Ethan would've been better off with Liv, but the ending was good.

This book was greatm a lot of twists and turns. Every page was a new twist. I can't wait to read the next book and see where Ethan and Lena takes us next.

Fire Burns

Fire Burns - Trista Day **I recieved a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review**

This book was awesome! I loved the characters, especially Draven, he was amazing. Callie was alright, she was a bit annoying, but she was cool. There were points when I wanted to slap the book, and points where I was anxious to turn to the next page already.

When it ended, I was upset, mostly because it was a Cliff Hanger! (And almost all of you guys who know me, you guys know how much I hate Cliff Hangers) I was so upset, I was sitting on my bed with my mouth hanging open. Soo, I finally turned the page and all I said was - YAY!!!

Trista Day is currently writing Book 2 (I honestly didn't know this was a series, let alone a trilogy) I am anxious to read the next book!!

City of Bones - Cassandra Clare Okay, this book was awesome! I loved this book so much! It mixed around my emotions. At one point, I was happy then the next I was sad. Then I was so tempted to throw the book the room. Then I got this lovey feeling. (That feeling you get when the characters finally admit they like each other.)

This was such a page-turner. I offically love Cassandra Clare's books. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Double Crossed: A Spies and Thieves Story - Ally Carter This was an amazing story! I haven't read the Gallagher Girls series, but after I read this, let's just say I will pick up the first book next time I go to the library :)

I recommend this book to everyone!! Ally Carter has once again, blown my mind with her writing.
That Summer - Sarah Dessen I really have no words, I did not like this book. This was my first Sarah Dessen book, and I wished I started with another one. I honestly didn't think this book was all that good. It did connect in any way. As I said, I have no words.
Broken Road - Elizabeth Yu-Gesualdi **I received a free copy of this book for an honest review**

I loved this book so much!! I cried so much at the beginning! I wasted a 50 sheet tissue box! This book really touched my heart and I never knew how much I could cry in a book until I read this one. I would not forget this book because:

1. Of the Romance
2. The way this book touched my heart
3. How Jarrod would go to the extremes to be with Angel

Although I loved this book, there are few scenes that I do not advise -12 and under to read, this is more of a Teen Book and YA, I was completely comfortable with all the writing but had to tell my sister she couldn't read it (even though she really wanted to) Because I thought the writing would be too intense for her.

But other than that, this is a heart warming book and if your looking for a nice book to read, just pick this up and you won't be sorry.
